Halo Hair and Beauty stylist Elaine Sneddon is celebrating after qualifying for the ClubStar auditions taking place in London later this month.
Graduate stylist Elaine will travel to the capital to pit her hairdressing skills against other young hairdressers from across the country, all vying for a place in the coveted Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s ClubStar Art Team.
She beat off tough competition from stylists aged between 16 and 25 to join a select group of six of the UK’s top young hairdressers.
During her 12 months in ClubStar Kirstie has been honing her skills and showcasing her hairdressing talents at some of the hairdressing industry’s biggest events including Salon International and Pro-hair Live and attending workshops and seminars run by many of the UK’s leading hairdressers.
Halo Hair and Beauty is run by two-time North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year finalist and 2014 Salon Stylist finalist Joseph Ferraro, who was himself a member of the Fellowship’s prestigious F.A.M.E (Fellowship Academy of Merit and Excellence) Team in 2011.
Elaine is very excited about winning a place in the ClubStar auditions – and is hoping her months of preparation will reap rewards.
Said Joseph: “I’m delighted that Elaine has qualified for the auditions. To even get as far as the audition stage for ClubStar is a tremendous achievement as the competition is extremely tough.
“Whatever the outcome, I am sure her commitment, enthusiasm and talent will shine through,” he said.
